Shortly after the end of the power play, Schneiderhan and Herman each fired a shot apiece producing two saves from Boston goalie Bailey Callaway. At the 5:12 mark, the Eagles extended their lead to 3-0 after Julia Pellerin found the back of the net.
- Crossing the midway point of the period, Saint Anselm strung together five shots featuring two from freshman Kyra Anderson (Regina, Saskatchewan). The Eagles continued to push their attack as the second period winded down resulting in another late goal to seal a 4-0 advantage right before the break.
- Schneiderhan and sophomore Ella Ridge (Chicago, Ill.) each ripped a shot apiece to get the third period underway for Saint Anselm, both saved by Callaway. The Hawks earned their third power play opportunity of the game at the 3:23 mark following a hooking penalty on Taber. Senior Brianna Martin (St. Michael, Minn.) and junior Madi Ressler (Brighton, Mich.) each recorded a shot during the Hawks power play.
- Approaching the halfway point of the third period, Taber notched her second score of the day to boost Boston's led to 5-0.
