  • Both teams exchanged points early in the third set with sophomore Abigail Macalaguim (Chula Vista, Calif.) posting her first kill of the night. A pair of kills from Frano would give Saint Anselm the 7-6 edge before the Hawks connected six consecutive points to take a 13-7 lead. After the Penmen cut the Hawks advantage to three points, Macalaguim hit back-to-back aces to regain a six-point lead. Frano would string three kills together late in the set to help boost the Hawks to a 25-18 victory in the third set.
