SCOUTING SAINT ANSELM
- Saint Anselm was set to open up against NCAA Division III Roger Williams on Monday, but inclement weather forced a postponement until Sunday, Sept. 11. After playing four of the season's first five matches on the Hilltop, four of the final six regular-season fixtures will be played away from the Hilltop.
- The 2022-23 roster features 11 student-athletes in total, including six returners and as many new faces. Eight of the 11 hail from inside New England while three come to the Hilltop from Mexico, Germany and Italy.
- Saint Anselm features six returners in singles play, including sophomores Julia Casaletto (Rowley, Mass.) and Olivia Parzick (Bow, N.H.). Both logged five singles victories for the Hawks, with Parzick racking up four wins at No. 4 singles and Casaletto producing four victories at No. 6 singles.
- Sophomore Abigail Svor (Lewiston, Maine) led the way with a 7-4 record in doubles action, winning six of her eight matches at No. 3 doubles. Parzick racked up six victories at No. 2 doubles while Julia Svor (Lewiston, Maine) had a hand in all three of her team's wins at the top doubles flight.
- The Hawks are playing home matches on newly-resurfaced courts that were completed in early August. Saint Anselm played last season at the Derryfield School with some select matches played indoors at the Carr Activities Center and at Southern New Hampshire University.
