MANCHESTER, N.H. – The regionally-ranked Saint Anselm College women's soccer team is set for two Northeast-10 Conference matches this week.
Saint Anselm and Franklin Pierce will now play on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Franklin Pierce, starting at 8 p.m. The match was postponed due to inclement weather on Tuesday. After the match with the Ravens, Saint Anselm will battle Le Moyne on Saturday, Sept. 17 with the opening kickoff scheduled for 12 p.m.

Saint Anselm dropped its conference opener to Pace University by a 3-0 score. The Hawks four-game win streak comes to an end as they join only the 1999 to reach the 4-0-0 mark. After the matches with the Ravens and Dolphins, Saint Anselm hosts Saint Michael's on Wednesday, Sept. 21 in NE10 play.
The Ravens suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of No. 1 nationally, the College of Saint Rose. Franklin Pierce is now 3-1-1 on its season with a 0-1-0 mark in conference tilts. The Ravens conclude their non-conference slate against Hartford on Monday, Sept. 19.
The Dolphins opened their NE10 slate with a 3-0 loss to No. 24 nationally, Southern New Hampshire. The team will also host American International before making the trip to the Hilltop. Le Moyne heads to Saint Rose on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
HAWKS NOTES
- Sophomore Josie Pecor (Williston, Vt.) leads the team with six points, coming from two goals and two assists. Pecor's six points are tied for fifth most in the conference and her two assists are tied for sixth.
- Junior Olivia Gotobed (North Andover, Mass.) and freshman Kayli Porter (Wakefield, Mass.) are tied with Pecor for the team lead with two goals and both have five points on the season. The trio is tied for fifth in the NE10 in goals scored.
- Saint Anselm has had eight student-athletes record a goal this season and they hold an 11-5 margin in goals scored. Eight student-athletes have at least one assist through the first five matches.
- Freshman Emma Hudson (Kingston, Mass.) has started in all five games for the Hawks. She is 4-1-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and 0.773 save percentage. Hudson has totaled 17 saves this season.
- Hudson is tied for seventh in goals-against average, ninth in save percentage, and tied for third in saves when compared to the rest of the NE10 goalkeepers.
- Saint Anselm ranks fourth in the conference in goals scored and is tied for fourth in assists. The teams 2.20 goals scored per game is fourth best in the conference.
SCOUTING FRANKLIN PIERCE
- Mollie Cahalane leads the Ravens and is tied for second in conference with three goals scored, joining Pecor in a tie for fifth in the conference with six points.
- Cahalane was named the Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week in the first week of the season.
- Anna Crapanzano and Delaney Farinha rank second on the team with two goals each. Farinha netted the Ravens goal in the match at Saint Rose.
- Gianna Derose has a team-high two assists, putting her in a tie for sixth in the NE10.
- Emilie Fox and Gabby Calidonio have split time in the goal for the Ravens. Fox has drawn three starts and owns a 1-1-1 record with a 1.30 goals-against average and a 0.727 save percentage while Calidonio is 2-0-0 with a 1.11 goals-against and a 0.769 save percentage.
SCOUTING LE MOYNE
- Hildur Unnarsdóttir leads the Dolphins offense with two goals. She has added one assist for a team-high five points.
- Unnarsdóttir was named the Northeast-10 Player of the Week for the first week of the season.
- Lindsey LeBlanc, Avery Maxam, and Magda Aspholm have all netted one goal each with LeBlanc and Maxam registering one helper apiece.
- Allison Moreau has started all four games for the Dolphins in goal. She has a 1.50 goals-against average and a 0.714 save percentage. Moreau has made 15 saves this season.
ALL-TIME vs. FRANKLIN PIERCE, LE MOYNE
- This will be the 39th meeting all-time between the Hawks and Ravens in women's soccer. Franklin Pierce is 32-4-2 against Saint Anselm.
- In the last meeting which came on Oct. 5, 2021, Saint Anselm took a 1-0 lead in the first half but Franklin Pierce netted three second half goals to take a 3-1 win at Melucci Field.
- The Hawks and Dolphins will meet for the 28th time on Saturday. The Hawks own a 14-8-5 record against Le Moyne in women's soccer all-time.
- The programs battled to a scoreless draw on Sept. 25 from Syracuse, N.Y.
