IRVING, Texas –
Senior captain
Michael Boucher (Milford, N.H.) of the Saint Anselm College football team was named to the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Hampshire Honor Society.
Boucher joins an elite group of 1,559 student-athletes from 313 colleges and universities across all divisions of the NCAA.
To be eligible, members must be nominated by their respective schools and completed their final playing year in the fall of 2021. The student-athlete had to attain a minimum undergraduate cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale). The student-athlete must be a starter or significant contributor throughout the 2021 season.
Boucher was selected earlier this season to the Northeast-10 Conference Academic All-Conference roster for the first time in his career. The marketing major was a key member of the Saint Anselm offensive line that conceded just 1.11 sacks per game in 2021, which was the second-best in the NE10 and was an improvement from the 2.36 the Hawks allowed in the last full season of competition in 2019. Boucher played in seven of the Hawks' nine games this past fall.
Boucher becomes the second Saint Anselm student-athlete to be named to the Hampshire Honor Society, joining
Nicholas Fiorillo '20.
