Saint Anselm is 6-1 so far in 2022 and owns a combined record of 11-5. Logging a 7-4 record against Northeast-10 Conference opponents, the Hawks host a Greyhounds team that is 8-8 overall and 4-8 versus the league.
Assumption has just one victory in its last five games and only two wins since the calendar turned to 2022. On the road, the Greyhounds have won just one games out of seven opportunities.
Fans attending Wednesday's game are expected to familiarize themselves with the College's spectator and ticketing policies.

SCOUTING SAINT ANSELM
- The Hawks are shooting north of 40% from the floor in each of the team's last three games, topping out with a 50.8% field goal percentage against Le Moyne on Jan. 22. Saint Anselm is shooting 44.7% from the field on the season, limiting opponents to a 42.8% field goal percentage across 16 games.
- Saint Anselm came away with a 76-67 victory at Saint Michael's College on Thursday. Four reached double-digit point totals for Saint Anselm, including a team-high 19 points from senior Miles Tention (Palo Alto, Calif.). As a team, the Hawks made 12 of their 21 three-point attempts and handed out 23 assists in total, reaching season-high marks in both statistics.
- Senior Chris Paul (Highland Mills, N.Y.) kept up his streak of games with at least 10 points, scoring that exact amount against the Purple Knights, while tying sophomore Matt Becker (Fairfield, Conn.) for the team lead with 11 rebounds. Paul's eight assists was a career-high and he crossed 1,700 points in a Saint Anselm uniform, finishing with 1,703 points across 108 games.
- Senior Alonzo Jackson (Medford, Mass.) produced 13 points, eight rebounds and four blocks off the bench at Saint Michael's and junior Tyler Arbuckle (Bristol, Conn.) posted 12 in the winning effort. Arbuckle also handed out nine assists, a career-high figure, while the four rejections for Jackson tie a personal-best mark. He now has 72 career blocks, tying Branimir Zeko '10 for fourth place all-time.
- Paul requires just two additional free throw makes in his career to reach 450. He presently ranks fourth all-time in that statistic.
- Head Coach Keith Dickson, in his 36th year on the Hilltop, won his 675th career game and now owns an all-time record of 675-347 (.660).
SCOUTING ASSUMPTION
- Last time out, Assumption and Le Moyne played to a 56-56 tie with 3:36 left in regulation time after the Greyhounds rallied from a 15-point deficit. Assumption could not complete the comeback, shooting 1-for-10 in the game's final three-plus minutes to allow the Dolphins to hold on for the win.
- The Greyhounds rank first in the NE10 with 12.56 offensive rebounds per game. The team is second in defensive rebounds per game (28.44), rebound margin (5.8), and overall rebounds per game (41.0), trailing only Bentley and its mark of 41.12 caroms per contest.
- Omar El Sheikh has 12 double-doubles on the season, ranking fourth in NCAA Division II, and his 8.25 defensive rebounds is seventh in the nation – both totals are the top marks in the NE10.
- Matthew Kelly has produced a well-rounded stat line on the season, averaging 18.6 points per game. He is ranked second in the NE10 in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.62), third in three-point field goals per game (3.0) and eighth in steals (27). His three-point field goal percentage of 45.7% is tops in the NE10.
ALL-TIME vs. ASSUMPTION
- The Hawks and Hounds are meeting for the 127th time, the most meetings by any Saint Anselm opponent in the team's history.
- Saint Anselm is 70-56 against the Greyhounds all-time, having won the first all-time game on Jan. 24, 1936 by a 29-26 margin.
- The Hawks have won 14 of the last 15 games against the Greyhounds, losing the one game by just three points on Feb. 6, 2018 at Assumption.
