MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's ice hockey team battles Post University on Tuesday, Nov. 1 before playing a home-and-home series with Stonehill College on Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5.
Tuesday's opening puck drop from Shelton, Conn. will be at 3:30 p.m. Saint Anselm will return to Sullivan Arena to host the Skyhawks on Friday at 7 p.m. before heading to the Bridgewater Ice Arena in Bridgewater, Mass. for a 5 p.m. start on Saturday.

The Hawks skated to a 1-0-1 record at Sacred Heart University on Oct. 28 and Oct. 29. Saint Anselm posted a 5-3 win in Friday's tilt before playing to a 3-3 tie on Saturday and is now 3-7-1 on the season with a 3-2-1 record in New England Women's Hockey Alliance play. After the three game week, the Hawks have another home-and-home series, this one with in-state foe Franklin Pierce University on Friday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Nov. 12.
The Eagles most recently dropped a pair of contests to Long Island University by 5-1 and 3-1 scores on Oct. 28 and Oct. 29. Post is now 1-7-0 both on the season and in league play. The team is off until Tuesday, Nov. 15 when they play Dartmouth College in the first non-league tilt of the season following the Tuesday matchup with the Hawks.
The Skyhawks, who are in their first season competing as a women's ice hockey varsity program, are 5-4-1 overall and 5-1-0 in NEWHA games after splitting a pair of contests on Oct. 28 and Oct. 29 with Franklin Pierce. Stonehill opened the series with a 4-1 win on Friday before falling 3-2 on Saturday. The Skyhawks will head to Sacred Heart following the pair of games with the Hawks.
HAWKS NOTES
- Junior Natalie Tulchinsky (Clifton Park, N.Y.) led the Hawks with five points on three goals and two assists in the pair of contests against Sacred Heart. Tulchinsky is tied for the team lead and the league lead with 11 points on six goals and five assists. The junior leads the NEWHA in goals.
- Sophomore Tyra Turner (Andover, Minn.) joins Tulchinsky at the top of the team and the NEWHA with 11 points. Turner's six assists are third in the league while adding five goals which are tied for second.
- Freshman Brooklyn Pancoast (Helena, Mont.), graduate student Kelly Golini (Tewksbury, Mass.), sophomore Audrey Jackson (Shoreview, Minn.), and senior Devin Porazinski (Parker, Colo.) all have multiple goals for the Hawks offense this season.
- Senior netminder Allie Kelley (East Berne, N.Y.) became the women's ice hockey program's all-time saves leader in Friday's 5-3 win. Kelley surpassed Amy Zappen '12 who previously held the record with 1,360 saves. Kelley now sits on 1,431 for her time on the Hilltop.
- The senior owns a 0.901 save percentage and a 3.95 goals-against average this season. She leads all of the National Collegiate level with 391 total saves in 2022-23.
- The Saint Anselm power play is operating at 13.6%, netting six goals in 44 opportunities while the penalty kill sits 80.0% having killed 36 of 45 chances.
SCOUTING POST
- Kiersten Browning leads the Eagles offense with four goals. She has added three assists for seven points which is tied for the team lead.
- Sheridan Terrazzano has a team-high four helpers and has netted three goals to join Browning in a tie with seven points.
- Jenna Abeyta and Madeline Noonan are tied for third with three points each. Abeyta has one goal and two helpers while Noonan has two tallies and a helper.
- Grace Glasrud and Hannah Saunders have started four games each in the goal for Post. Glasrud has a 3.92 goals-against average and a 0.872 save percentage while Saunders owns a 0.899 save percentage and a 4.03 goals-against average.
- The Eagles are four-for-26 on the power play, converting with the extra skater at 15.4%. The squad is killing off penalties at 57.7%, allowing 11 goals on 26 chances.
SCOUTING STONEHILL
- Alexis Petford leads the Skyhawks offense with five goals and five assists for 10 points. Petford is third in the NEWHA in points, tied for second in goals, and tied for fourth in assists.
- Lily Barrett is second on the team with eight points, coming from one goal and a league-high seven assists.
- Eight other Skyhawks, led by four from Maddison Achtyl, have recorded multiple goals on the year. Stonehill leads the league with 31 goals scored this season.
- Hanna Zukow has started eight games in the goal for the Skyhawks. She holds a 2.58 goals-against average and 0.910 save percentage, totaling 201 saves on the year. Zukow ranks inside the top-five in all three statistical categories this season.
- Stonehill ranks second in the league with a 22.2 power play percentage, scoring on six-of-27 power plays. The team is killing off penalties at 79.5%, conceding eight goals in 39 times shorthanded.
ALL-TIME vs. POST, STONEHILL
- The Hawks and Eagles will battle for the 18th time in the all-time series on Tuesday. Saint Anselm is undefeated against Post in women's ice hockey.
- The teams last met on Feb. 5, 2022 from Shelton, Conn. with the Hawks downing the Eagles by a 5-0 score.
- Between the four contests during the 2021-22 season, Saint Anselm held a 16-3 edge in goals scored.
