The Hawks extended their unbeaten streak to six games, skating to a 1-0-1 weekend with Saint Michael's College on Jan. 21 and Jan. 22. Dating back to Nov. 28, 2021, the Hawks are 4-0-2 with wins over Dartmouth College, Brown University, Long Island University, and Saint Michael's. After the Friday evening tilt with Franklin Pierce, the Hawks head to Post University for their final road trip of the 2021-22 season on Friday, Feb. 4 and Saturday, Feb. 5.
The Ravens swept their weekend series against Sacred Heart University on Jan. 21 and Jan. 22 by 3-0 and 2-0 scores. Franklin Pierce is 11-8-1 on the season and is 7-3-0 in New England Women's Hockey Alliance play. The team travels to Saint Michael's on Friday, Feb. 4 and Saturday, Feb. 5 before hosting four consecutive contests.

SCOUTING SAINT ANSELM
- The Hawks set a game-high with six goals in Friday's win as freshman Tyra Turner (Andover, Minn.) netted her first collegiate hat trick while junior Margaret Sullivan (Burlington, Mass.) and sophomore Abigail Blair (Grand Island, N.Y.) netted their first collegiate goals. Senior captain Erin Meyers (St. Paul, Minn.) scored her team-leading seventh-goal in Friday's win while senior alternate captain Kelly Golini (Tewksbury, Mass.) scored the lone Hawks goal in Saturday's tie.
- Meyers leads the Hawks in goals (7), assists (11), and points (18) while Golini sits in second with 13 points, stemming from six goals and seven helpers. Meyers sits in fourth in the NEWHA in points and is tied for second in assists.
- Turner was rewarded for her hat trick with the NEWHA Player of the Week honors, the first of her career. Turner assisted on Golini's goal in Saturday's contest giving her four points in the weekend two-game set. Turner has five goals and seven assists for 12 points in her freshman campaign.
- Junior Allie Kelley (East Berne, N.Y.) and Freshman Annabella Lalande (Plantagenet, Ontario) split starts at Saint Michael's. Kelley notched the win on Friday, improving to 7-10-2 on the season with a .932 save percentage and a 2.79 goals-against average. Kelley ranks first in the NEWHA in total saves (699), fifth in goals-against average, and third in save percentage.
- Lalande made her second career start in Saturday's draw. She has a .945 save percentage and a 1.67 goals against in four appearances.
- The Hawks have netted seven power play goals in 91 opportunities, good for a 7.7% success rate. The team has been shorthanded 90 times and has allowed 12 goals which translates to an 86.7 penalty kill percentage.
SCOUTNG FRANKLIN PIERCE
- The Ravens posted a pair of shutouts in their weekend sweep of Sacred Heart University. Those contests marked the return to play for Franklin Pierce as the team's original return was set for Jan. 7 and Jan. 8 against Saint Michael's but those contests were postponed.
- Geno Hendrickson, Becca Kniss, Brooke Remington, and Emilie Prive netted the five Hawks goals against the Pioneers.
- Prive and Remington are tied for the team lead in goals with eight each. Remington netted two goals over the weekend which earned her the NEWHA Defensive Player of the Week accolade.
- Jenna Ruiz and Katelyn Brightbill are tied for the team lead with nine helpers each while Prive follows with seven assists.
- The duo of Prive and Ruiz are tied for seventh in the NEWHA with 15 points each while Brightbill and Remington are tied for 10th with 13 points.
- Suzette Faucher and Emme Ostrander have drawn 10 starts each this season. Faucher, who named to the Women's Hockey Commissioners Association Goaltender of the Year Watch List, is 7-2-1 on the season. Faucher leads the NEWHA with a 1.40 goals-against average and a .950 save percentage.
- Ostrander is 4-6-0 with a 2.61 goals against and a .906 save percentage. Her goals-against average ranks fifth in the conference.
- The team is 10-for-69 on the power play, good for a 14.5% conversion rate. The team is killing penalties at 87.1%, allowing just nine goals in 70 short-handed scenarios.
ALL-TIME vs. FRANKLIN PIERCE
- The Hawks are 24-4-1 all-time against the Ravens and Friday's contest marks the 30th in the all-time series.
- Previously this season, the squads played a home-and-home series on Oct. 29 and Oct. 30 with Saint Anselm taking a 1-0 victory at Sullivan Arena on the 29th before falling by a 3-2 score on the 30th. Freshman Gracee Donovan (Orchard Park, N.Y.) netted her first collegiate goal in the win before Turner and sophomore Maddy McCaffery (Weymouth, Mass.) each scored their first collegiate goals in the loss.
- The Hawks were 21-0-1 before the Ravens captured their first win in the series on Nov. 1, 2019. Since then, Franklin Pierce is 4-3 against Saint Anselm.
