SCOUTING SAINT ANSELM
- Against Pace on Saturday, senior Miles Tention (Palo Alto, Calif.) scored the game-winning three-point basket as time expired off an inbounds pass from junior Matt Relihan (Lynnfield, Mass.), flipping what was a 78-76 deficit into a one-point victory. Tention finished with 24 points, matching the scoring output of classmate Chris Paul (Highland Mills, N.Y.).
- Paul, who crossed the 1,600 career point mark in the victory, added eight assists and five rebounds to his stat line. Junior Tyler Arbuckle (Bristol, Conn.) and senior Alonzo Jackson (Medford, Mass.) both chipped in 10 points. Arbuckle added six helpers while Jackson posted two blocks. Relihan grabbed a team-high seven boards.
- Paul leads the NE10 in free throws made (56) and free throw attempts (78). He is second in the league with 20.7 points per game and plays just north of 37 minutes per game, also ranking second among conference student-athletes.
