The Hawks scored three second-half goals in their non-conference finale against Daemen on Wednesday. Senior
Regan Pratt (Newburyport, Mass.) opened the scoring in the 50th minute and less than a minute later, freshman
Sydney Wnek (Danvers, Mass.) registered her team-leading second goal. After a Daemen goal in the 54th minute, senior
Olivia Maier (Sherborn, Mass.) tallied her first career goal to propel the Hawks to a 3-1 win.
The Panthers grabbed their first win of the season on Wednesday evening.
Carly Issing registered the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Southern Connecticut State. Adelphi opened the season with a 1-1 tie against Mercy before falling to Southern New Hampshire in the NE10 Conference opener for both teams.
SCOUTING THE HAWKS
- Wnek leads the Hawks with two goals. Maier, Pratt, junior Grace Foley (Middleton, Mass.), sophomore Olivia Gotobed (North Andover, Mass.), and freshman Erin Rutherford (Ashburnham, Mass.) all have one goal each.
- Pratt leads the team in assists with three and points with five. Freshmen Riley Digilio (Danvers, Mass.) and Anna Rigby (Marblehead, Mass.) are the other Hawks with an assist.
- Junior Kate Macaluso (Malverne, N.Y.) has been in goal for every minute of the Hawks season so far. She is 2-1 with a 1.52 goals against average and a .688 save percentage. The junior has made 11 saves on 16 shots on goal.
- Pratt is tied for third in Division II, averaging 1.00 assists per game. Her total of three is good for eighth nationally and both are tops in the NE10.
- As a team, the Hawks are averaging 6.33 points per game which is third best in the conference.
- Gotobed has 11 shots on the season with five on goal. Foley is second on the team in shots with five.
- Saint Anselm is outshooting their opponents, 48-33 with a 21-16 margin in shots on goal. They also hold a plus-two goal differential.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
- Issing and Hailey Franco both have one goal each for the Panthers.
- Kayla Mushorn and Jessica Petry are tied for the team lead in assists with one each.
- Krista Aliscio has started two games in net. She holds a 1-0-1 record, having allowed one goal on 12 shots on frame. Her .917 save percentage is 21st nationally.
- Sarah Hofmeier has drawn one start, making eight saves on nine shots on goal. She is 0-1 on the season.
- Between the goalkeepers, they rank 24th nationally with a .905 save percentage. They are also averaging 6.33 saves per game which is the top-mark in the conference.
- The Panthers hold a 44-36 advantage in shots but are being outshot in on goal, 21-14. They have allowed two goals and scored two goals for an even goal differential.

- This is the 16th meeting all-time between the two programs. The Panthers are 12-2-1 against the Hawks.
- The last match was a 4-1 win on Sept. 21, 2019 for the Panthers and extended the current longest win streak in the series to six.
- The Hawks won the opening contest on Oct. 1, 1995 by a 4-0 score. Their most recent win was by a 2-0 score on Oct. 3, 2009.
