MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's basketball team will host a series of camps and clinics during the summer of 2021.
The Hawks will host two four-day summer camp sessions, the first beginning on Monday, June 28 and the second commencing Monday, Aug. 2. The camps are intended to improve individual and positional skills, learn new concepts, strategies, and drills while competing and having fun in a team setting.
An overnight elite camp on Thursday, July 1, designed specifically for high-school aged girls, will allow players to showcase their talent and skill while working with the experienced basketball coaching staff. The session will also teach its campers what it is like to be a collegiate student-athlete.
The coaching tandem of
Corey Boilard and
Colleen Moriarty has propelled the Saint Anselm program to new heights. The owner of a 60-29 (.674) overall record since joining the Hawks prior to the 2017-18 season, Boilard and the Hawks won 17 games in his first season before claiming the program's first-ever East Region Championship and a berth in the NCAA Division II Elite Eight in 2019.
Entering her sixth season at Saint Anselm, Moriarty has been a part of 79 victories on the Hilltop and has helped the Hawks to the postseason in each of those campaigns. With Moriarty's assistance, the Hawks made it all the way to the NE10 postseason championship game in 2020 – it was Saint Anselm's first appearance there in 22 years.
