A Live Video stream of the match will be provided and the complete results will be posted on SaintAnselmHawks.com.

SCOUTING THE HAWKS
  • The women's tennis team's home opener against Southern New Hampshire was the first on-campus athletics event – in any sport – since Mar. 7, 2020.
  • Most recently, Saint Anselm posted a 5-2 loss to Bentley on Thursday.
  • Junior Josie Hulbert (Loudonville, N.Y.) and sophomore Anastasia Kapothanasis (Westbrook, Maine) started the day off against the Falcons with a convincing 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles, but Bentley rebounded to take the early point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles.
  • Bentley clinched the match victory with four consecutive singles wins, but the Hawks were able to claim wins at No. 2 and No. 4 singles, the first two match wins for Saint Anselm in 2021.
  • Senior Dominique Bolduc (Manchester, N.H.) won her first set after a tiebreaker, 7-6, and followed up with a 6-2 result against Bentley on Thursday. Kapothanasis rallied from a set down to claim her No. 2 singles match in a third-set tiebreaker.
  • In the Hawks' earlier match against Franklin Pierce, junior Emily Jacy (Glastonbury, Conn.) completed her No. 1 singles bout and battled to a 6-0, 6-3 loss in one of the closest fixtures of the day.
THE RAVENS REVEAL
  • The women's tennis program is reaching new heights at Franklin Pierce in recent times, posting a 9-7 record in 2019-20 after winning just 11 matches from 2013-14 to the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
  • Franklin Pierce continues to roll through the Northeast-10, having won each of its four matches to date. The Ravens blanked each of their first three opponents and most recently won by a 5-2 margin over Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday.
  • The Ravens are 16-2 in singles play this year and are a dominant 11-0 in doubles action. Maria Aguilo is 3-1 at the top singles flight while Himani Mor owns a matching record at No. 2 doubles.
ALL TIME vs. FRANKLIN PIERCE
  • Saint Anselm enjoys a 25-6 lead in the all-time series over Franklin Pierce that dates back to Oct. 16, 1990.
  • The Hawks had won 14 consecutive matches over the Ravens from Mar. 16, 2006 to Sept. 30, 2018. The streak was snapped in the 2019-20 season as the Ravens eased their way to a 7-0 win over the Hawks on Oct. 10, 2019.
  • The Ravens recorded a 5-0 victory over the Hawks earlier this season on Mar. 21, cruising past the Hawks in a match played in Rindge, N.H.
