RINDGE, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's tennis team was blanked by Franklin Pierce University on Sunday by a 5-0 score.
Saint Anselm drops to 0-2 on the year while Franklin Pierce remains undefeated with a 3-0 overall record. The Hawks host Bentley on Thursday, Mar. 25 at 3:30 p.m.
Franklin Pierce picked up quick victories at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, winning each flight by a 6-0, 6-0 score to earn a 1-0 lead in the match. The Ravens breezed through singles play, clinching the victory with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles, a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles, and a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 2 singles.

Emily Jacy (Glastonbury, Conn.) completed her No. 1 singles bout in progress and battled to a 6-0, 6-3 loss.
