The Hawks captured a 3-0 victory over Franklin Pierce on Nov. 9, marking their third consecutive victory in straight sets. Saint Anselm sits at 18-6 on the season with an 8-3 record in Northeast-10 Conference play. The Hawks are looking to reach the 20-win mark for the fifth time in program history. After wrapping up the regular season, Saint Anselm will be playing for a NE10 championship after securing a postseason spot with the win over Franklin Pierce.
The Yellow Jackets downed Bentley in straight sets on Nov. 6 which improved them to 22-6 overall and 10-2 in the NE10. After hosting the Hawks, American International hosts Southern New Hampshire in its regular-season finale on Saturday, Nov. 13. The Yellow Jackets will be competing in the conference championship as they have also secured a postseason berth.
The Panthers downed Southern New Hampshire, 3-1, in their last match on Nov. 6. With the win, Adelphi improved to 16-10 on the year with a 5-6 mark in conference play. The Panthers host Saint Michael's College on Friday, Nov. 12 before concluding the regular season against the Hawks on Saturday, Nov. 13.

SCOUTING SAINT ANSELM
- The Hawks are winners in their last seven of eight matches, dating back to the 3-1 victory at Saint Michael's on Oct. 13. Saint Anselm concluded its home regular season schedule against Franklin Pierce on Nov. 9, improving to 12-1 when playing at Stoutenburgh Gymnasium.
- The win over the Ravens marked the 200th career women's volleyball win for Head Coach Braden Zamore. Just two matches before, Zamore registered his 100th win at the helm of the Saint Anselm volleyball program.
- Leading the offensive attack against Franklin Pierce was junior Lois Dogbe (Winchester, Calif.) as she notched 11 kills on 21 swings. Freshman Gabby Belcher (Buckeye, Ariz.) was second on the team with 10 kills while junior Lauren Casey (Jefferson City, Mo.) and sophomore Audrey Wetjen (Henderson, Nev.) fired eight kills each. Casey is the team leader in kills with 245 on the season, averaging 3.02 per set.
- Junior co-captain Michelle Henwood (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) threw up 31 assists against Franklin Pierce, marking her 11th consecutive game with 30 or more assists. She has 815 for the season, averaging 9.83 assists per set which is fifth in the conference.
- Casey notched 12 digs to lead the Hawks defensive efforts while sophomores Alina Barbarena (Los Angeles, Calif.) and Kaitlin Brown (Glendale, Ariz.) recorded 11 digs each. Junior co-captain Caroline Belmontez (San Diego, Calif.) is the team's dig leader with 322 on the season, averaging 4.22 per set. Aiding the Hawks defense with 65 blocks is Wetjen who has recorded 25 solo blocks and 40 assisted rejections.
- Saint Anselm averages 2.13 service aces per set which is good for 12th nationally. Belmontez leads the team in that category, averaging 0.44 per set.
- The Hawks currently sit in fourth in the NE10 standings and are two matches back of the top spot in the conference entering the weekend. The final two matches will determine the Hawks seed for the postseason as they could finish anywhere between the first and seventh spots in the standings.
SCOUTING AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL
- The Yellow Jackets recorded their 15th consecutive win in their 3-0 victory over Bentley. The squad has not dropped a set in five matches, suffering their last set loss to Georgian Court University on Oct. 16. American International has not lost a match since falling to Stonehill on Sept. 25 in 3-1 fashion.
- Andrea Serra-Rose averages 3.65 kills per set on 332 total kills this season. Her per-set ratio ranks second in the NE10 while her total kills rank fourth.
- Naomi Eckert-Rivera has accumulated 1,061 assists on the season which is good for 10.94 assists per set. She leads the conference in assists per set while ranking second in total assists.
- Amanda Rodriguez is tied for fourth in the NE10 with 422 digs while ranking seventh in the conference with an average of 4.59 per set. Aiding the defensive efforts is Mai-Lani Hernandez with 71 total blocks.
- American International currently sits in third in the conference standings at 9-2. The Yellow Jackets could finish anywhere between first and seventh in the standings depending on how the regular season concludes.
SCOUTING ADEPLPHI
- The Panthers have posted wins in two of their last six matches. Prior to downing Southern New Hampshire on Nov. 6, Adelphi fell to Stonehill and Franklin Pierce on Oct. 30 and Nov. 5.
- Delaney Kiendra leads the squad with 228 kills which is good for 2.75 per set. Samantha Meehan follows closely with 221 total kills.
- Kambel Fiser is the team leader, averaging 8.75 assists per set. She has posted 761 total assists through 87 sets.
- Jamie Yonker averages 5.65 digs per set on 548 total digs this season. She is the conference leader in both statistical categories. Samantha Collins is the team leader with 60 total blocks to aid the Panthers defense.
- Adelphi is the first team out of the NE10 postseason entering the weekend, sitting in the ninth spot in the standings. They do have the possibility of reaching as high as seventh in the standings, which would give them a spot in the conference championship.
ALL-TIME vs. AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL
- This will be the 37th meeting all-time between the two programs as the Yellow Jackets hold a 27-9 record against the Hawks.
- The last meeting came on Nov. 15, 2019 and resulted in a 3-2 win for the Hawks. The teams met twice during the 2019 season as Saint Anselm captured a 3-1 win earlier in the season in a non-conference contest on Sept. 20.
- When playing in Springfield, Mass., the Yellow Jackets are 14-5 against the Hawks.
ALL-TIME vs. ADELPHI
- The regular season finale for both teams marks the 17th match in the series history. Adelphi is 15-1 against Saint Anselm all-time.
- The last meeting came on Nov. 16, 2019 and went the Panthers way by a 3-2 score from the Hilltop.
- Saint Anselm's lone win in the series came on Nov. 1, 2003, resulting in a 3-0 for the Hawks.
