Members of the four Hawks winter sports teams, including men's basketball, have been on campus during recent weeks for practice and team activities. Student-athletes, coaches and support staff have adhered to full COVID-19 testing and safety protocols in advance of Saturday's exhibition.

Arbuckle, whose blue team was on the losing end of a 107-101 decision, paced the Hawks in point scoring, narrowly missing a double-double with nine rebounds. Senior Gustav Suhr-Jessen (Virum, Denmark) logged 21 points, 17 rebounds and six assists with newcomer Josh Menard (Higganum, Conn.) responsible for 16 points.

The victorious white team was led by a 35-point, 13-rebound and seven assist game from senior Chris Paul (Highland Mills, N.Y.), the reigning Northeast-10 Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player. Freshmen Matt Becker (Fairfield, Conn.) and Bryce Lausier (Hampden, Maine) scored 26 and 25 points, respectively, with Becker adding a game-high 15 rebounds.

The blue team led by as many as eight points in the first half following a triple from Suhr-Jessen with 1:37 to go in the opener. Suhr-Jessen was a key catalyst to his team's 56-51 lead at the break, posting 12 rebounds with as many points. Arbuckle had 18 points at halftime with Paul, Becker and Lausier each reaching double-digits as well for the white team.

With the score tied at 76 with more than halfway through the second half to go, a Becker dunk with 7:09 to go pushed the white team ahead by a 90-82 margin. The blue team would come back and draw even at 98 within the game's final two minutes, but the victorious white team strung together six consecutive points to capture and maintain the lead down the stretch.

Sophomore Preston Urbancic (Naples, Fla.) had a solid game for team blue, posting 13 points, three rebounds and two assists. Classmate Owen McGlashan (Marlton, N.J.) hauled in seven rebounds for the blue program and senior Spencer Cline (Mason, Ohio) notched 17 points with three rebounds and an assist for the white squad.
