MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's tennis team was defeated by Post University on Wednesday by a 4-0 final score.

The Hawks fall to 3-8 following the non-conference match while Post moves to 4-3 on the year.
The pairing of senior Tess Malerbi (Scituate, Mass.) and junior Kaitlin Hughes (Rockland, Mass.) posted a 6-4 victory at No. 1 doubles, but Post was able to capture a 1-0 lead in the match with wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
Ahead by a 1-0 score, the teams played until an overall match winner was decided due to impending darkness. The Eagles were able to lock up wins at No. 1, No. 5 and No. 6 singles to clinch the road victory in Manchester.
Saint Anselm hosts Assumption this Saturday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. in a Northeast-10 Conference match.
