GRASONVILLE, Md. – The Saint Anselm College men's golf team finished 15th of 16 team at the Towson Invitational with a two-day team score of 666 (+90) this weekend at Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville, Md.
Results
As a team, Saint Anselm shot 328 in the first round on Saturday, before totaling 338 strokes on Sunday. Georgetown won the invite with a score of 605 (+29), followed closely by Drexel's total of 609 (+33).
Stephen Hunt led the Hawks with a two-day 162 (+18) to finish tied for 58th. His first-round 80 was the best single-round score for Saint Anselm on the weekend and he followed it up with an 82 on Sunday.
Joe Brunelle opened with an 82 on Saturday and posted an 83 on Sunday to finish tied for 64th with a 165 (+21). Nick Carter shot an 83 in the first round and an 84 in the second round to finish tied for 69th with a two-day 167.
Tad Link and Jack Dowding rounded out the top-five for the Hawks. Link and Dowding each posted scores of 174 (+30) for the weekend.
Saint Anselm closes its season at the Mike Bello Invitational on April 9-11 at Timber Banks Golf Club in Baldwinsville, N.Y.
