ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – The Saint Anselm College baseball team dropped a 12-0 decision to Bentley University on Sunday afternoon in the final game of a three-game set with the Falcons in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
The Hawks (1-5) return to action on Monday night when they take on Saint Leo's at 6:00 p.m.
Tyler McKeon (Rutland, Mass.) registered the lone hit of the game for the Hawks with an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth inning. Conversely, Bentley banged out 12 runs on 13 hits in the game.
Seve Llanio (Glen Arm, Md.) suffered the setback for the Hawks, giving up five earned runs in 3.1 innings of work. Adam Krol (Sunderland, Mass.) tossed a pair of innings and gave up four runs (two earned), while Justin Kerhulas (North Reading, Mass.) pitched 1.2 innings, giving up three runs (two earned) on three hits. Zane Byrne (Franklin, Mass.) struck out a pair and gave up only two hits in two innings of work.
Bentley's Paul Frisoli pitched six innings and allowed only the one hit in the victory. Luke Dawson tossed the final three innings for the save.
