MANCHESTER, N.H. – Freshman Kathryn Rindo (Lowell, Mass.) won her singles match, but the Saint Anselm College women's tennis team fell to the College of the Holy Cross, 8-1, in its season finale Sunday afternoon at the Saint Anselm Outdoor Tennis Courts.
The Hawks complete their season at 3-10, while the Crusaders up their record to 5-8.
Rindo led her No. 3 singles match, 6-4, 2-3, when her opponent, Maya Welch, retired.
This marked the final career match for seniors Alexandra Lawrence (N. Scituate, R.I.) and Rachel Pedro (Weymouth, Mass.).
