ALBANY, N.Y. – Senior Kyla Gustavson (Nashua, N.H.) and freshman Brennah Gladwill (Citrus Heights, Calif.) each recorded 10 kills, but the Saint Anselm volleyball team fell to the College of Saint Rose in three sets for Northeast-10 volleyball action.
The Hawks will dip to 7-15 overall and 2-7 in the league with the loss, while the Golden Knights bump to a 14-3 record with a 6-2 mark in league play.
Set scores for the evening were 25-23, 26-24 and 25-19.
In addition to their attack effort, Gustavson and Gladwill each contributed defensively with eight and six digs, respectively. Junior Holland McNabb (Huntington Beach, Calif.) added four kills to go along with her pair of blocks.
Junior Natalie Steinwart (Aurora, Ill.) picked up 28 assists alongside four kills and six digs. Steinwart's classmate Melissa Jewett (Newton, Mass.) chipped in a team-high 10 digs.
