MANCHESTER, N.H. –The Saint Anselm College volleyball dropped a 3-0 decision to Adelphi University on Friday evening with set scores of 25-15, 25-19 and 25-14.
With the loss, the Hawks fall to 9-15 overall and 5-9 in the Northeast-10 conference, while the Panthers improve to 21-10 and 12-2 in league play.
Four different Hawks posted five kills, including Shannon Douglas (Rochester, N.H.), Kyla Gustavson (Nashua, N.H.), Natalie Steinwart (Aurora, Ill.) and Lauren Oxley (Gainesville, Va.).
In addition to her five kills, Gustavson recorded seven digs, the same as teammate Margaret Tereschuk (Mission Viejo, Calif.). Melissa Jewett (Newton, Mass.) tallied a team-high eight digs.
Steinwart dished 18 assists and also added four digs to her credit.
For the Panthers, Kaitlyn DeStefano totaled a match-high eight kills.
