MANCHESTER, N.H. –The Saint Anselm College volleyball fell to Le Moyne College, 3-0, Saturday afternoon with set scores of 25-17, 25-17 and 30-28.

With the loss, the Hawks fall to 8-14 overall and 4-8 in the Northeast-10 conference, while the Dolphins improve to 14-11 and 5-8 in league play.

In the final set, the Hawks commanded a 20-15 lead, before the Dolphins went on a 9-2 run, taking the lead at 24-22. Eventually, the Hawks tied it up at 25, thanks to a pair of Shannon Douglas (Rochester, N.H) kills. Two kills from Kyla Gustavson (Nashua, N.H.) and two kills from Le Moyne's Morgan McDermott allowed for back and forth play, before a Saint Anselm error gave the Dolphins the win at 30-28.

Gustavson led the Hawks with eight kills. Melissa Jewett (Newton, Mass.) and Margaret Tereschuk (Mission Viejo, Calif.) posted double-digits in digs for the second straight match with 14 and 11, respectively.

Douglas posted seven kills, while Natalie Steinwart (Aurora, Ill.) dished 23 assists over three sets and added four kills and six digs.

Holland McNabb (Huntington Beach, Calif.) assisted in the effort with four kills and 12 digs.

For the Dolphins Allison Hebel notched double figures in kills and digs with 10 kills and 10 digs. Bethany Fabian recorded a match-high 20 digs.
