SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Saint Anselm College saw one goal each from Jenna Szostak (Carver, Mass.) and Siobhan Flaherty (Braintree, Mass.) as the women's soccer team played to a 2-2 double-overtime result Saturday afternoon at Ted Grant Field.
The Hawks will close out their 2012 campaign at 4-6-3 and 3-6-6 in Northeast-10 conference play, while the Dolphins now stand at 3-9-5 and 1-9-5 in league play.
Saint Anselm was first to score right out of the gate at 5:46 when Flaherty sent a feed from the right side into the middle of the box to find Szostak, who sent the ball into the back of the net.
Flaherty would get one of her own at 16:46 when Kelli Duggan (South Easton, Mass.) sent a corner kick to the center of the box to Flaherty, who kicked it in.
Le Moyne scored its first at 24:11 when Christie Morano struck a free kick from the left side to the near post, where Lindsay Bakal netted her third of the season past Saint Anselm goalkeeper Gabriella Primera (Kennett Square, Pa.).
The Dolphins tied the game at two when Morano netted a goal of her own at 64:39.
Primera made 10 saves in the effort, while Le Moyne goalkeeper Tori Corsaro made nine.
Le Moyne held a 24-18 advantage in shots.
This marked the last career game for seniors Duggan, Kaitlin Oldfield (Epping, N.H.), Jackie McEvoy (Spring, Texas), Emily Rooney (Quincy, Mass.) and Jillian Tonelli (Cunningham, Mass.).
