The Hawks dominated Salve Regina from the opening face off until the final buzzer. The Hawks scored 4 goals in the contest and controlled the game throughout the three periods of play.
The first Hawk goal came from Courtney Winters (Swamscott, MA), assisted by Sami Tatu (Waterford, MI). It was a power play goal and was followed shortly by a goal from Rosemarie Giarrusso (Royal Palm Beach, FL) assisted by Jamie Lynn Comrie (Ashburn, VA) and Molly Corl (South Boston, MA).
The first period ended with Saint Anselm completely dominating the play 30 shots to 3.
The second period goals were scored by Kathryn Picarello (West Roxbury, MA) assisted by Kristen Byrne (Duxbury, MA) and Rose Giarrusso and a second goal by Kathryn Picarello assisted by Kristen Byrne and Sami Tatu.
At the end of the period, it was 4-0 Saint Anselm.
The third period went scoreless and the Hawks tallied the win 4-0.
The Hawks outshot Salve Regina 37-14.
