Easton, Mass. (April 18) -- In the
regular-season finale, the Saint Anselm women's tennis team dropped
an 8-1 final at Stonehill on Sunday afternoon. With the loss, Saint
Anselm completes the regular season at 7-6 overall and in
Northeast-10 Conference play.
Picking up the lone win for the Hawks was junior Erika
Sartor (Andover, Mass.), who took the No. 1 singles match
by a 7-5, 6-2 final.
Saint Anselm is the No. 7 seed in the Northeast-10 Conference
Tournament and will take on No. 2 seeded Stonehill in the
tournament quarterfinals. That much will take place on Tuesday,
April 20th at a time to be announced.
