MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Saint Anselm volleyball
team headed down to Easton, Mass. this afternoon to take on the
Stonehill College Skyhawks in their second Northeast-10 Conference
match of the season. The Hawks fought hard, but fell to the
Skyhawks in four games.
Stephanie Devlin (Beverly, Mass.) led the team
with 12 kills and a .429 attack average. She was followed by
Stephanie Mauer (South Hadley, Mass.), who had a
season-high six kills. Devlin also led both teams with five
service aces. Rachel Flaherty (Cold Spring,
N.Y.) had a team-leading 26 assists, and Margaret
Tereschuk (Mission Viejo, Cal.) recorded a career-high 24
digs.
With the win, the Skyhawks improve to 6-4 (1-0 NE-10) and the
Hawks fall to 4-6 (0-2 NE-10). The Hawks return to action on
Tuesday, September 29th as they take on the Saint
Michael's College Purple Knights in Northeast-10 Conference play.
The Hawks look to take down the Purple Knights for the second time
this season, after defeating them 3-2 on September
13th. Tuesday night's match will begin at 7:30 pm.
