Towards the end of the second period, senior Daniella Lyons (Greene, Maine) scored her first goal of the season, followed by another from Kathryn Picarello (West Roxbury, Mass.), to extend the Hawks' lead to seven heading into the third period.  Just 35 second into the third period, Panther Jaimie Camara (Portsmouth, R.I.) finally gave Plymouth State their first goal of the game, netting a quick goal off the faceoff.  Dougherty replied just 22 seconds later, potting her second goal of the game before the end of the first minute of the period.  Corl then added a power-play goal at 14:29.  Danielle Shea (Billerica, Mass.) fought back for the Panthers, netting a power-play goal of her own at 18:06, and with 25 seconds remaining in the game, assistant captain Kristen Byrne (Duxbury, Mass.) notched her team-leading fifth goal of the season, to run the final score to 10-2 Hawks.

The Hawks outshot the Panthers 46-11 in the competition.  Hawk goaltender Carley Berry (Danvers, Mass.) picked up her first win of the season, making nine saves and allowing two goals in a complete game in the net.  Starting goalie Nicole Provencher (Guilford, Conn.) made 25 saves in 39:00 minutes, allowing seven goals and taking the loss, before being replaced by Lauren Bonanni (Ridgefield, Conn.), who finished out the last 21 minutes, making 11 saves and allowing three goals.
