MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Saint Anselm volleyball
team continued their five-match road trip to Syracuse, N.Y. this
afternoon to take on the Le Moyne College Dolphins in Northeast-10
Conference play. After winning the first game 25-13, the
Hawks lost three straight to fall to the Dolphins 3-1. The
win lifts the Dolphins to 12-6 (4-4 NE-10) while the Hawks fall to
5-13 (1-9 NE-10).
Sophomore Charlotte Tencza (Greenfield, Mass.)
led the match with 18 kills. Junior Stephanie Devlin
(Beverly, Mass.) was next on the Hawks with 12 kills and a
.556 attack percentage. She also led the team with three
blocks. Sophomore Rachel Flaherty (Cold Spring,
N.Y.) recorded 39 assists in the match and added four
kills out of seven attempts for a match-high .571 attack
percentage. Freshman Margaret Tereschuck (Mission
Viejo, Calif.) led the team with four service aces.
Bethany Fabian (Lake View, N.Y.) had a match-high
five service aces for the Dolphins, who combined for nine team
blocks.
The Hawks continue their road trip to Lowell, Mass. on Wednesday
night to take on the University of Massachusetts-Lowell River Hawks
in a Northeast-10 match beginning at 7:00 pm. Be sure to
