finding the five-hole of Williams' goaltender, Marc Pulde
(Lexington, Mass.). The goal was assisted by Mike
Nunzianto (Guilford, Conn.) and Pat Forshner
(Natick, Mass.). The Hawks took the 1-0 lead into the
second period.
The Hawks scored two goals just 18 seconds apart from each other
early in the second period. Nick Wheeler (Nashua,
N.H.) batted the puck out of mid-air into the net on the
rebound, assisted by Matt Grazioso (Quincy,
Mass.), at the 1:28 mark. The Hawks then scored again with
Paul Snell (Groton, Mass.) finding the top shelf
on a two-on-one, assisted by Wheeler and Grazioso, at the 1:46
mark. The Hawks took the 3-0 lead into the third period.
Williams refused to go quietly though, scoring three times in
the third period. The first two goals came just 41 seconds
apart from each other, both on the power play. Brandon
Jackmuff (Woodbury, N.J.) scored on the power play at the
10:15 mark, assisted by Andrew Lepore (Clarence,

at the 13:42 mark, with Zach Miller (Bridgeton,
N.J.) finding the back of the net, assisted by Dreiheim
and Jackmuff, to tie the game up at three apiece. Colin
Fitzpatrick (Westwood, Mass.) rung the post for the Hawks
with only three seconds left to play in the period for the Hawks
best scoring chance in the third period. The game went into
overtime tied at three.
The Ephs took advantage of the power play in overtime, as
Jackmuff scored at the 4:16 mark, assisted by Lepore, lifting
Williams to a 4-3 victory.
