Cape Cod, Mass. (January 15) -- Saint Anselm
women's hockey goaltender, Andrea Berlin (Durham,
N.H.), was selected the ECAC East Goaltender of the Week
for the week ending January 13, 2008. It is the second week in a
row Berlin has been given this honor.
Berlin made 25 saves in a 2-0 shutout of UMass Boston, improving
her record to 7-0-0 between the pipes. The shutout was her fourth
of the season. Berlin's 0.44 goals against average leads the
nation in NCAA Division II/III women's hockey, while her .971 save
percentage also ranks her first in the nation.
The Hawks return to action Tuesday, January 15th, as Saint
Michael's hosts the Hawks at 4:40 p.m. in the teams second
match-up of the season. The Hawks took the first game, 7-0.
