Rindge, N.H. (September 8) -- The Hawks fell to
Franklin Pierce 3-0 (30-20, 30-21, 30-10) this afternoon in their
second Northeast-10 conference match of the season. The loss
drops the Hawks to 1-5 overall, 0-2 NE-10, while the win improves
Franklin Pierce to 4-6 overall, 2-0 NE-10.
Alana McNeil (Lawrence, Mass.) led Saint Anselm
with 10 kills, two service aces, and three blocks.
Kelly O'Dea (Andover, Mass.) recorded 18 assists,
while Heather Sherlock (No. Andover, Mass.) and
Samantha Regan (Danville, N.H.) shared the
team high in digs with 7 apiece.
Megan Feldmuth and Nicole
Buchholz led the attack for the Ravens with 12 kills
apiece, while Caitlynn Parnell finished with 10
kills, 11 digs, two service aces, and two blocks.
The Hawks return to action traveling to Bryant University on
Tuesday, September 11 for a 7 p.m. match. The Ravens
play host to Bentley College on Tuesday, September 11 at 7 p.m.
