Hawks Drop Season Finale, 3-0

Manchester, N.H. (October 30) -- The Saint Anselm volleyball team finished its season falling to UMass Lowell, 3-0 (30-18, 30-17, 30-28). The Hawks finish their season 3-22, 2-13 Northeast-10, while UMass Lowell stands at 12-20, 7-6 in league play, with one regular season match to play against Pace.

Alana McNeil (Lawrence, Mass.) surpassed 1,100 kills in the match, registering 12 kills. McNeil also picked up three blocks and two service aces on the night. Heather Sherlock (No. Andover, Mass.) pitched in with 15 digs and three kills, while Kelly O'Dea (Andover, Mass.) had 17 assists and 14 digs.

For the River Hawks, Elsa LeGrand (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) picked up 13 kills and two blocking assists. Vicky Wong (Tewksbury, Mass.) led UMass Lowell in hitting with 17 kills. Nichole Rondeau (Dracut, Mass.) registered 29 assists to lead the River Hawks in passing, while also picking up 16 digs. Allie Eide (Gresham, Ore.) had a team-high 31 digs.

The Hawks end their season, falling to UMass Lowell, 3-0.
