Tim Field was named Director of Operations, Recreation Sports & Facilities in April 2026. In this role, he oversees the department's athletics facilities, intramural sports, game-day operations and other operational responsibilities while continuing to serve as an assistant coach for the Saint Anselm men's soccer program.
Field enters his 10th season as an assistant coach with the Hawks in 2026. During his tenure, he has helped guide Saint Anselm to several program milestones, including the program's first Northeast 10 Championship appearance and postseason victory since 2009 in 2023. The Hawks also posted their best conference finish since 2002 that season, while Michael Provenzano earned All-NE10 Third Team honors and Connor Lovely was named to the NE10 All-Rookie Team.
In 2025, Saint Anselm opened the season unbeaten through its first five matches and recorded seven shutouts, while freshman Luke Delia earned Northeast 10 All-Rookie Team recognition.
The Hawks posted a 7-9 record in 2022 after opening the season with five consecutive victories, the program's best start since 2001, and climbed to No. 9 in the United Soccer Coaches East Region poll. Field also helped guide the Hawks to six victories during the 2021 season, while Zach Elliot earned All-NE10 Third Team honors. The 2020 season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The regionally ranked Hawks posted a 7-9 record in 2019, the program's highest win total in a decade at the time. Saint Anselm opened the season with four consecutive victories and finished with a winning home record, while Kevin Jordan became the program's first NE10 All-Rookie Team selection since 2015.
In 2018, the Hawks capped the season with a 3-2 victory over eventual Northeast-10 champion Southern Connecticut State. The previous year, Saint Anselm defeated nationally ranked Franklin Pierce for its first win over a ranked opponent in nearly seven years, while Dan Kelly and Emmet O'Callaghan became the program's first All-NE10 selections since 2014.
Field brings more than 30 years of coaching experience throughout New England and Florida. He has coached with FC Stars since 2015 and has served as a coach with the New Hampshire Olympic Development Program since 2012. In 2007-08, he was named the New Hampshire Girls Competitive Coach of the Year.
His previous coaching experience includes nine years with Nashua World Cup, three years at Merrimack High School and three years at Plant City High School in Florida. During his time in Florida from 1984-96, he also coached a variety of club teams.
Field holds a National Diploma and an Advanced National Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), along with a U.S. Soccer National C License.
A 1992 graduate of the University of South Florida, Field lives in Merrimack, N.H., with his wife, Kim, and daughters, Brenna and Cailin.
