Peyton Steinman, a recent graduate of Saint Anselm and a four-year member of the Hawks women's basketball program, joined her alma mater as a Volunteer Assistant Coach in August 2022.

Steinman recently wrapped up a standout career on the Hilltop, earning WBCA Division II All-America Honorable Mention and Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year accolades as a senior in 2022. The Hawks Soar Higher Female Student-Athlete of the Year award winner in her final season, Steinman led the NE10 with 20.6 points per game.

Graduating as the all-time record-holder in Hawks history with 1,781 career points, 487 free throws made and 572 free throws attempted, she also matched a decades-old single-game scoring record in 2021-22 with 43 points in an overtime win over Southern New Hampshire on Feb. 8.

Across a 117-game career in a Hawks uniform, Steinman played just shy of 3,700 career minutes and averaged 15.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals per game. She was a three-time NE10 All-Conference pick, capturing First Team plaudits twice, and was named to the NCAA Division II East Region All-Tournament Team as a sophomore, helping Saint Anselm to its first regional championship that season.
