Saint Anselm College head women's golf coach Tara Watt announced the hiring of Lydia Tufts '26 as a volunteer assistant coach for the hawks ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Tufts returns to the Hilltop after four successful years as a member of the women's golf program, most recently coming off a season as a captain of the team. Tufts competed in 27 events over the past four seasons, winning the New England Fall Classic in back-to-back years in 2024 and 2025.
Tufts passed the PGA of America Player Ability Test (PAT) and is now a PGA Associate, aiming to further her career in professional golf. Tufts is also a Golf Operations Associate at Candia Woods Golf Links in Candia, N.H., and is beginning her journey in the Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program.
The Auburn, N.H. native graduated from Saint Anselm in May of 2026 with her bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
