Danielle McCarthy

Danielle McCarthy joined Saint Anselm College in June of 2026 as an Assistant Director of Athletic Communications.

McCarthy arrives on the Hilltop after serving as the Director of Athletic Communications at Franklin Pierce University since August 2024. In that role, managed all digital content, social media strategy, photography, videography, and graphic design initiatives that enhanced the visibility of Ravens Athletics. In addition, she oversaw game operations and event logistics for multiple athletic programs.

Prior to her role at Franklin Pierce, McCarthy served as a Sports Information Graduate Assistant at Misericordia University from August 2023 through August 2024. During her time with the Cougars, she maintained website content and digital archives, managed social media content, assisted with event coverage and logistics for numerous athletic events, and supported game-day operations. McCarthy helped serve as a communications coordinator for the baseball team's trip to the NCAA DIII World Series where the Cougars went on to capture their first national championship in program history.

McCarthy began her career in athletic communications as a Student Assistant at Western New England University, where she gained experience in live event operations, streaming, equipment management, game-day logistics, and social media content creation. She was also a team captain for the Golden Bears' women's soccer program and served on the institution's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

McCarthy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Western New England University in 2023 and garnered an M.B.A. in Sports Management at Franklin Pierce University in 2026.

In her new role, McCarthy will assist with the promotion and coverage of Saint Anselm's 23 varsity athletic programs through website management, social media strategy, statistical reporting, event operations, graphic design, photography, videography, and other athletic communications initiatives.
