2023-24: Northeast-10 Fall Academic Honor Roll..Northeast-10 Spring Academic Honor Roll.

AT SAINT ANSELM

2023: Van den Akker played in all 22 games in her debut season for Saint Anselm...She recorded one goal and one assist for three points... She made her collegiate debut on Sept. 1 against Millersville University...On Sept. 30 versus St. Thomas Aqunias College, she produced a score for her first collegiate goal as well as her first career game-winner...Van den Akker dished out her first career assist at Southern Connecticut State on Oct. 7...She aided Saint Anselm to its second-ever Northeast-10 Conference title and to the NCAA Division II postseason for the sixth time in program history. 

PRIOR TO SAINT ANSELM: Graduated from Van Maerlant Lyceum....Played field hockey at Van Maerlant Lyceum...Played club field hockey for the Hockey Geldrop. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of René and Mary...Sister of Willem and Anna-Sophie...Major undecided...Has aspirations to become a nurse practitioner...Attracted to Saint Anselm due to the small campus atmosphere, the nursing program, and the opportunity to continue playing field hockey...Enjoys singing and playing the guitar in their free time.
