Sarah Quigley will enter her first season with the Saint Anselm College women's ice hockey program for the 2023-2024 season.
Quigley arrives at the Hilltop after serving as the Assistant Coach for the Saint Michael's College women's ice hockey team during the 2022-2023 season. While coaching for the Purple Knights, she helped with organizing practices, recruiting, and logistical planning for away trips. Quigley played a key role in scouting opponents and presenting her reports in team film sessions and practices. She also was a Co-Advisor for the Saint Michael's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee where she helped mentor student-athletes and facilitate various on-campus events.
Prior to Saint Michael's, Quigley was the Assistant Coach for the NCAA Division III Anna Maria College women's ice hockey program. During her five-year stint with the AMCATS, she concentrated on working with the goalies and defensive line in training in addition to assisting the head coach with all other aspects needed to run a competitive NCAA hockey program. Quigley also served as the Assistant Coach on the women's lacrosse team at Anna Maria for two years.
In addition to her wealth of collegiate coaching experience, Quigley has had the opportunity to serve as the Stop-It Goaltending Director since 2019 before joining Saint Michael's coaching staff. She helped plan both private and small group lessons for college to youth goaltenders. She also spent a few years as a Massachusetts District-Goaltending Development Leader and District-Festival Evaluator.
Quigley graduated from SUNY Buffalo State in 2016 with a degree in Exercise Science. She played four years on the Bengals women's ice hockey team earning ECAC All-Academic Team and SUNY All-Academic Team throughout her career. She would go on to earn her Master of Science in Applied Exercise: Strength and Conditioning in 2021 from Concordia University Chicago. While working towards her master's degree, Quigley was a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success Chapter. Quigley is also certified as a USA Hockey - CEP Level 2 coach.
