AT SAINT ANSELM

2023-24: Horan competed in all six events for the Hawks as a graduate student…Opened the season at the Shacklette Invitational on Sept. 2 where he cracked the top-15 navigating the 8k course in 29:54…Recorded his best 8k time of the season at the Jame Earley Invite on Oct. 7 clocking in at 27:53…Helped Saint Anselm to a 9^th place finish at the NE10 Conference Championship with his 8k time of 28:08, good for 72^nd place…At the NCAA Division II East Region Championship on Nov. 4 Horan posted a season-low 10k time of 34:20.

2022-23: Horan competed in all six meets for Saint Anselm in his senior season...He captured a 12th-place finish at the 40th Annual Schacklette Cross Country Invitational with his 29:31.3 time...Posted a time of 28:22.8 at the Northeast-10 Cross Country Run Championship placing 61st out of 125 runners...Cracked the top-100 as the second finisher for the Hawks at the NCAA Division II East Region Cross Country Championship with a time of 34:50.9...Also competed in two unofficial spring track and field meets and recorded a new a career-best in the 5,000-meter with a time of 16:43.19.

2021-22: Made his cross country debut on Sept. 11 in the 39th Annual Shacklette Invitational…Finished 12th in the Bruce Kirsh Cup with a time of 26:58.1 in the 8k which followed a best five-mile time of 26:47.1 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational…Finished a team-best 66th at the NCAA Division II East Region Championship on Nov. 6 with a 10k time of 34:50.4…Competed in the unofficial spring track & field season in the 5000 and the mile.

PRIOR TO SAINT ANSELM: Graduate of Paul VI Catholic HS...Played basketball and ran cross country and track & field for the Panthers...A member of the National Honor Society, the Latin Honor Society and the Symphonic Band...Served as a team captain for the cross country team, earning the Peter T. Menke Scholar-Athlete Award...Recipient of the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Award of Merit.

PERSONAL: Son of Tom and Kate...Brother of Chris...Uncle is a 1975 graduate of Saint Anselm...Majoring in Criminal Justice and Behavioral Neuroscience...Aspires to work in federal law enforcement.
