    Volunteer Assistant Coach
Julia Hand '21, one of the most decorated goalkeepers in Saint Anselm College field hockey history, enters her second season with the Hawks as a Volunteer Assistant Coach.

A key cog in her team's NCAA Division II National Championship runner-up finish in 2019, Hand started 22 games and led all of the NCAA Division II and the Northeast-10 Conference with a goals-against average of 0.25 and a save percentage of 0.868, claiming the NCAA Division II statistical championships in both figures.

Recording 14 shutouts on the year, including nine straight to begin the 2019 season, Hand only allowed five goals on the season on the way to Second Team All-America honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association.

The NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year in 2019, Hand also earned First Team All-Conference honors and began her career with NE10 All-Rookie Team honors in 2017.

In 59 games played for Saint Anselm, Hand racked up a 46-13 record (.778) and logged a program-record 23 shutouts. Upon graduation, her 46 wins as a backstop place her first among active NCAA Division II student-athletes.
