2024-25: McAvoy appeared in 38 games for the Hawks in her senior season... Scored 2 goals and tallied 2 assists for 4 total points on the season... Recorded 32 blocked shots and a season high 4 blocks against Stonehill in a 1-1 tie (11/23)... Scored the game-winning goal in a 4-3 win at Sacred Heart (10/11). 

2023-24: McAvoy skated in 30 of the 37 games for the Hawks in her junior season...She ripped 13 total shot attempts on the year...Recorded 16 total blocks which was tied for ninth most blocks on the squad...Made a season-high four blocks at Stonehill on Feb. 16. 

2022-23: McAvoy skated in 37 games for Saint Anselm during her sophomore season…She recorded her first collegiate goal and a career-high three assists for four points...Made 23 shot attempts and earned 41 blocks for the defense, ending the year tied for third on the team in blocks...Whistled for nine minor penalties...Tallied a season-high four blocks on Sept. 24th against Mercyhurst...Scored her first collegiate goal for the Hawks on Nov. 19th versus Saint Michael's to go along with a pair of blocks in the 4-3 victory over the Purple Knights...Posted her first assist of the season on Jan. 27th against Franklin Pierce...Registered her third assist during the NEWHA Quarterfinals best-of-three series against Saint Michael's on Feb. 26th...Helped Saint Anselm make their fifth consecutive NEWHA Championship game appearance.

2021-22: Skated in 19 games for the Hawks as a freshman…Posted one assist for one point…Fired four shots and closed the season with a minus-four on-ice rating…Called for just one minor penalty…Blocked 18 shots…Made her collegiate debut against Maine on Oct. 2…Earned an assist on Feb. 19 against Sacred Heart, marking her first collegiate assist and point…Attempted two shots on Jan. 21 at Saint Michael’s…Part of the Hawks defensive group that ranked third in the NEWHA with an average 2.22 goals-against per game…Helped the Hawks to an average of 2.22 goals per game which was fourth in the NEWHA…Aided the Hawks to their fourth consecutive NEWHA Championship game appearance.

BEFORE SAINT ANSELM: Played for the Selects Academy at Bishop Kearney…Played volleyball, ice hockey, and lacrosse for the Kings…Was a member of the Long Island Lady Islanders and the New Jersey Rockets hockey clubs…Finished as the runner-up at USA Hockey U19 Nationals as a Senior…A member of the High Honors Program.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Charles and Jennifer…Sister of Charlie, Kayla, and Holly…Majoring in Criminal Justice…Aspires to become a FBI agent…Enjoys art, volleyball, surfing, and skateboarding.
