Laura Johnson is approaching her 19th anniversary on the Hilltop, serving the campus community as a cashier for Dining Services. A mainstay at the Coffee Shop on campus, she is always accommodating and cheerful with the students, student-athletes, faculty and staff, sometimes knowing their orders better than they do themselves. Johnson’s radiant smile is synonymous with the Coffee Shop's signature reputation on the Hilltop.

"It's always a pleasure to see the student-athletes and all of our students, staff and faculty in general," said Johnson. "Thank you for this award, but I want everyone to know that every day I feel appreciated, because this is how you all make me feel all the time."
