Sarah Glenn (February 2018)

Sarah Glenn was awarded with the Hawks Soar Higher award in February 2018. Glenn serves as an Associate Professor of Philosophy and also assists the women's ice hockey program as its faculty-staff team advisor. A member of the coaching staff since the team's varsity inception in 2004, Glenn handles all academic needs, including study halls and class selections. Her work with the team is accredited with their ability to succeed both on and off the ice.

"Sarah is an integral part of our program," remarked Head Coach Kerstin Matthews. "She is a true asset to the sport of women's ice hockey and is such a strong advocate for athletics at Saint Anselm."

Associate Athletic Director Courtney McGrath echoed Matthews' sentiments.

"Professor Glenn earned this award because she is a mentor to so many student-athletes. She addresses the whole student, not just the student-athlete, and is very concerned with ensuring the person's success in and beyond the classroom," said McGrath.
