Saint Anselm College

George Fong, the recipient of the February 2018 Hawks Soar Higher Award, is a fixture on the Hilltop and has been part of the Dining Services team for more than a decade. He can be seen in the President's Box for home football games, setting up sandwiches and presenting cookies for children. He is a host for major catered events on campus, such as the Hall of Fame banquet. He is often seen driving the Dining Services delivery truck around campus with his Saint Anselm baseball cap on.

A fan favorite of student-athletes, coaches and athletic staff members, Fong exudes Anselmian hospitality in everything he does for the Department of Athletics.

"Most everyone in our athletic department knows George as his smiling face can be seen at athletic events, in Davison Hall and at the Coffee Shop," said Director of Athletics Daron Montgomery. "His service to our student-athletes and to the department is very much behind the scenes and we are pleased to recognize him publicly with this award."
