Lorie Cochran, the Executive Assistant in the New Hampshire Institute of Politics, is the November 2019 recipient of the "Hawks Soar Higher" award.

She oversees numerous student employees and works with major news networks on a daily basis. Cochran works closely with the Athletics staff on many events that utilize the NHIOP space, including the Department’s annual Athletics Hall of Fame.

“I am honored to be recognized by the Department of Athletics,” said Cochran. “Working with students is why I have been a part of the Saint Anselm family for over 25 years. All of the ambassadors as well as the students in our politics department and NHIOP office are important to me and I continue to stay close to many of them after they graduate.”
