AT SAINT ANSELM

2024-25:
Longo competed in five meets for Saint Anselm as a senior captain...opened the season at the Shacklette Invitational, logging an 8K time of 36:05.2...recorded his season-low 8K time of 32:35.8 at the NE10 Cross Country Championship on October 27th to close out his collegiate career. 

2023-24: Competed in four events for Saint Anselm during his junior campaign…Opened the season at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 17 where he navigated the 8k course in 35:30…At the James Earley Invitational on Oct. 7, Longo produced an 8k time of 33:33, good for 90th place…Saw his best performance of the season at the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup on Oct. 13, where he recorded a season-low 8k time of 32:30.

2022-23: Longo participated in four meets for Saint Anselm during his sophomore season...Produced his best 8k time of the season at the Lehigh Paul Short Invitational on September 30th with a time of 31:24.4...Longo also took part in three unofficial spring track and field meets competing in the mile and 1,500-meter events.

2021-22: Made his collegiate debut at the 39th Annual Shacklette Invitational on Sept. 11…Posted a season-best five-mile time at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational before registering his best finish of the season at the Bruce Kirsh Cup on Oct. 2 with an 8k time of 28:53.8…Made his track & field debut in the unofficial spring season, competing in the 5000, the mile, and the two-mile.

PRIOR TO SAINT ANSELM: 2021 graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham HS...Was a member of the cross country and track & field programs for the Trojans...Earned All-Scholastic honors from the Brockton Enterprise in 2020...Was a Southeast Conference All-Star selection in 2020...Picked up the Team Dedication Award on two occasions...A member of the National Honor Society...Received the History Department Award...Active with the Chess Club.

PERSONAL: Son of F. Scott and Elizabeth...Brother of William and Caroline...Father is an avid runner who has completed over 20 marathons...Secondary Education major...Aspires to become a high school history or english teacher.
