AT SAINT ANSELM

2024-25: Wong competed in all six meets for Saint Anselm as a fifth-year senior...opened the season at the Shacklette Invitational, securing an 11th place finish with a time of 29:09.6...recorded his collegiate 8K PR at the NE10 Cross Country Championship, finishing 52nd overall with a time of 27:24.2...capped off his collegiate Cross Country career at the NCAA Division II East Region Cross Country Championship, finishing 81st with a 10K time of 34:39.4.

2023-24: Competed in five of the six events for the Hawks as a senior…Cracked the top-10 at the Shacklette Cross Country Invitational on Sept. 2 with a time of 29:33…Recorded a season-best in the 8k at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational clocking in at 28:12…At the James Earley Invitational on Oct. 7, Wong navigated the 8k course in 28:34…Helped the Hawks to a ninth place finish at the NE10 Conference Championships with his 8k time of 28:31.

2022-23: Wong competed in five of the six meets for Saint Anselm in his junior season...He finished 18th overall at the 40th Annual Schacklette Cross Country Invitational with a time of 30:43.3...His best 8k time of the year was on September 30th at the Lehigh Paul Short Invitational clocking in at 28:15.7...He captured 48th place at the NEICAAA Cross Country Championship on October 8th posting a 28:41.8 time...At the Northeast-10 Championship on November 6th, Wong cracked the top-100 clocking in at 29:22.4 to help Saint Anselm place eighth out of 13 teams...He also competed in three unofficial spring track and field meets for the Hawks running in the 5,000-meter and 1,500-meter events.    

2021-22: Made his cross country debut at the 39th Annual Shacklette Invitational and finished 47th in the event…Posted a 28th place finish at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Sept. 18 with a time of 27:51.5 in the five-mile and followed that up with a 21st place finish at the Bruce Kirsh Cup on Oct. 2 with an 8k time of 27:39.8…Competed in the unofficial spring track & field season in the 5000m and the two-mile…Finished in 10th in the 5000m at the Merrimack Track Carnival on Apr. 9 with a time of 16:51.10.

PRIOR TO SAINT ANSELM: 2020 graduate of Oakmont Regional HS...Ran cross country for the Spartans and was a member of the track & field team as a freshman...Was a three-year Spartan Award recipient by maintaining a grade-point average north of 3.7...A member of the National Honor Society and the Friends Club...Also active with Students Against Destructive Decisions and Peer Leadership...Recipient of the Most Improved Runner and Most Valuable Runner awards...Collected the Daniel J. Farrell Scholar-Athlete Award...Picked up Oakmont Athletic recognition...Served as a team captain.

PERSONAL: Son of Chris and Lori...Brother of Alec and Aby...Aunt played basketball at Connecticut Col. and both parents are graduates of Saint Anselm...Aspires to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation or the Drug Enforcement Administration...Criminal Justice major.
