AT SAINT ANSELM

2023-24: Competed in five of the six events for the Hawks as a senior…Opened the season at the Shacklette Invitational on Sept. 2 where he finished 34^th after posting an 8k time of 37:36…At the James Earley Invitational, Pitney navigated the 8k course in 34:06...Recorded a season-low 8k time of 33:45 at the Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup on Oct. 13.

2022-23: Pitney competed in four of the six meets for Saint Anselm in his junior season...He recorded a season-best on September 17th at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational posting a time of 32:19.6...Pitney also competed in the NEICAAA Cross Country Championship clocking in at 32:37.4 to secure 90th place...He also took part in three unofficial spring track and field meets competing in the mile and 1,500-meter events.

2021-22: Made his cross country debut at the 39th Annual Shacklette Invitational with a 65th place finish on Sept. 11…Posted his top 8k time of the season on Oct. 2 at the Bruce Kirsh Cup at 29:56.8, good for 38th overall…Competed in the unofficial spring track & field season in the 5000m and the two-mile.

PRIOR TO SAINT ANSELM: 2020 graduate of Shrewsbury Senior HS...Was a member of the cross country, baseball and indoor/outdoor track & field programs for the Colonials...Also played for the New England Storm...Recipient of the Springfield College Book Award...A member of the National Honor Society...Received the Outstanding Achievement in Physical Education award...Elected as a team captain for cross country.

PERSONAL: Son of Patrick and Maria...Brother of Thomas and Victoria...Grandfather was a two-time captain of the men's soccer team at the United States Naval Academy...History major...Aspires to become a history teacher at the middle or high school level.
