Golf finishes 14th at Mike Bello Invitational

BALDWINVILLE, N.Y. – The Saint Anselm College golf team wrapped up the 2015-16 season with a 14th place finish at the Mike Bello Invitational hosted by Le Moyne College at the Timber Banks Golf Club on Sunday and Monday morning.

The Hawks finished the weekend with a total score of 651 after a round one 330 and a second round 321.

Stephen Hunt (Wilbraham, Mass.) shot a second round 76 to finish tied for 47th with a total score of 159. Billy Argus (Canton, Mass.) posted an 82 in the second round to finish in a tie for 53rd with a total score of 161.

Nick Carter (South Easton, Mass.) finished tied for 60th after a second round 79 put him at 163 for the weekend. Jack Ball (Duxbury, Mass.) shot back-to-back 84's while Robbie Cole (Hopkinton, Mass.) posted a pair of 85's on the two days to finish tied for 72nd and 76th, respectively.

Concordia won the tournament with a team total of 595, finishing one stroke ahead of host Le Moyne, who posted a score of 596. Bentley finished third (596) followed by Southern New Hampshire (600), with Assumption and Saint Rose tying for fifth with a team total of 618.
