MANCHESTER, N.H. – Adam Weinstein, Brian Kavanagh and Kyle Harris each posted two wins to lift the Saint Anselm College men's tennis team to its second-straight win with a 7-2 victory over Regis (Mass.) on Friday afternoon at South Tennis Courts.

Saint Anselm (2-3) got off to a good start with a doubles sweep and snagged four singles wins to defeat Regis (Mass.) (1-2). In addition to the two wins each from Weinstein, Kavanagh and Harris, Benji Page posted a singles victory.
The doubles pairs of Weinstein and Daniel Kmetz and Kavanagh and Alex Pearson each recorded their second consecutive victories as part of the doubles sweep. Weinstein and Kmetz rolled to an 8-1 victory at the second spot, while Kavanagh and Pearson put up an 8-5 win at the third spot.
The match at No. 1 doubles between Eric Howes and Kyle Harris and Chris Harrow and Nolan Bebarta went all the way to a tiebreaker, which Howes and Karris won 7-4 for a 9-8 victory.
The singles matches were played as eight-game pro sets with Kavanagh, Harris and Page winning their second matches in three days. Kavanagh edged Cam Charbonneau 8-7 (7-3) at No. 4 singles, Harris held off Nick Hildreth 8-6 at No. 5 singles and Page cruised to an 8-0 win over Evan Russell at No. 6 singles.
Weinstein provided the other victory, downing Luke Horton 8-3 at the second spot.
Saint Anselm plays its third match in four days by hosting Gordon on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 11 a.m. at South Tennis Courts.
